- We will have short demonstrations of common situations, and how they can be avoided or escaped quickly.
- A discussion about “Fight, Flight, or Freeze” and what breathing techniques you can use to soothe your nervous system in times of trauma or anxiety.
- With an intro by Attorney Alara Chilton, who will be discussing assault statistics, sharing her personal assault story, and sharing legal resources.
Alara Chilton is a Spanish speaking civil attorney focused on seeking justice for victims of consumer fraud and sexual assault.
- Two lucky participants will win a safety tool they can take home.
All ticket fees will be donated to the Center for Community Solutions.
