Building the Womb

The Message

Safety doesn’t always arrive on its own.

Sometimes, you have to build it…slowly, lovingly, piece by piece.

A corner of your room.
A blanket that smells like peace.

Music that speaks your language.

Objects that whisper, “You are safe here.”

This isn’t childish. It’s sacred.

It’s not a weakness. It’s a return.

You are allowed to make beauty just for your own nervous system.

To create a space, physical or imagined, that says,

“I know where to go when I need to come back to me.”

Journal Prompts

  • What colors, textures, or sounds help me feel most held?
  • Where have I already created comfort, even unconsciously?
  • What do I want this space to whisper when I arrive?
